"I started working out with Steve in August 2018. I had done some weight training on my own in the past without real guidance and thus without significant progress, so I wanted to train with him to get expert guidance and set goals to improve my endurance and optimize my physical appearance. My goals were to gain muscle mass and thus gain body weight (as I had always been the skinny type) at the expense of muscle mass and keep my percentage of body fat low. Right from the start I knew Steve was the right person to help me out to achieve these goals, he took all the time needed to explain to me exactly how we were going to work together to achieve my goals and how we was going to do everything necessary on his part, but that a big part of our plan was the effort and discipline that I was going to put in and out of the gym. He helped me immensely, since he set a workout and diet plan for me to be able to achieve my goals and also to identify what mental limitations I had set for myself, which was a key component to training, as he was able to make me into a disciplined and accountable person. I learned a great deal about how fitness works, what is the right way to do exercises (he made sure that I performed them correctly before increasing the weight, so that we optimized the training and also avoid injuries) the right way to train (what exercises are key and how to build a workout routine). With his guidance and motivation I started cooking on my own and stopped eating fast food since I realized how important this was to gain my nutrition goals (I ended up enjoying cooking a lot and saved money as well!). He made sure I understood that the most important part of getting your goals "happens outside the gym" and so I gradually became more disciplined inside and outside of the gym, which actually poured into my personal and professional life as well (importance of responsibility, accountability, discipline, and self-improvement). It didn’t take long for me to notice the physical changes in my body and soon I was hitting the numbers that I had set for myself with the help of Steve. Not only was I achieving my goals, but I started seeing that I was capable of much more than I thought and that I could continue to improve even more. This made me more confident and changed my perspective completely about taking care of my body naturally , I also feel up to any challenge that comes my way since I feel I found my hidden potential and how important discipline is. I would continue working with Steve for the long term, but unfortunately I am moving out of town so I wouldn't be able to, but I feel confident that I have gained the tools to continue carving my own path and continue achieving my physical goals, as well as continue reaping the benefits of discipline and self-care in my daily life."

"Best personal trainer I've ever had. I'm in the military and got flagged because of my weight, I have those birthing hips and thunder thighs. I knew I had to do something about it but did not have the self motivation to do it on my own. A coworker recommended Steve. When we met, it was nothing like I had expected. Our first meeting was very professional, we talked about what my goals and expectations were but not only that, he was also very direct about his requirements and what he would expected of me. I was impressed by his seriousness about the expected results and my commitment to the goal. Steve was very encouraging, checked in on me on my off days to make sure I was sticking to my meal plan, reminded me to keep hydrated " that was my enemy" I was never able to drink the recommended amount of water, and inquired how I was feeling after the workouts. He kept a record of my progress. When I would get depressed he would show me how well I was doing even though I wasn't feeling that way. When I felt that I should be seeing more results he kept reassuring me that it would take something, but not to give up. He pushed me to the best of my ability, showing me how far I could go, he was very concerned about my knee injury and made sure I would never do anything to further aggravate it or make it worse. He constructed my exercise routine and meal plan to match my body type. We all know that "one size does NOT fit all". Overall it was a very good experience, I kept seeing him even after I had met my 1st set of goals. There is always room for improvement, so I kept going. Anyways, I lost 22 lbs in less than 8 weeks, 3 days a week. I went from 185 lbs to 163 lbs, passed my tape the very next month and was way under my "Fat" percentage allow. 22 lbs in 8 weeks!!! I am PCSing to another duty station but I plan on doing online sessions with Steve. If you're not serious about reaching your goals or making the sacrifice for yourself, don't waste his time. "Let’s just say that I came out of this a totally different person, both physically and mentally. This process was something that can’t be done overnight or with some 30 day subscription to some generic workout plan. I’ve worked out with Steve for roughly 9 months and he is truly a genuine trainer. He is very caring and will stick with you to make sure that you understanding everything (just a heads up, I think he’s psychic lol). "My initial goal with Steve was recompositioning. I had an upcoming wedding and a very particular dress to fit into, haha. Steve helped me flatten my belly a little and replace the fat around my shoulders and biceps/triceps with muscle. In a matter of weeks I was lifting heavier weights than I would've even considered on my own and finding it hard to believe. Spoiler: I love my wedding pictures! Steve is an anomalous trainer - not just your ordinary "Do ten reps then a set of push-ups," or "Eat this, not that" kind of coach. I've always been more of a books-and-cappuccinos-with-my-dog sort of girl, and I didn't think I'd ever be someone that enjoyed working out regularly. Because Steve tailors my workout lifestyle to my physiology and makeup specifically (and results come SO quickly!), it's easy to want to keep working toward the next weight plate or dumbell increment. 10/10 would recommend to 10 out of 10 people."

"So I started working with Steve because I was really out of shape. I had trouble going up two flights of stairs, which part of why I started. I was starting to see negative health consequences at 34. As, I started I really just wanted to lose some weight and look thin. That actually only took 30 days to accomplish and as I progressed my goal changed to building muscle. I feel amazing now. I can easily keep up with my kids. "Incredible trainer! I had my moment when I realized I needed to buy new clothes, in a bigger size….again. Nope, wasn’t going to go there. I was beyond irritated with myself and my repeated thoughts of how I need to lose weight or how my clothes don’t fit and yet I was going in the opposite direction. I didn’t want to go to a commercial gym for my trainer and that’s when I found Steve. I read the reviews and after completing the first month I can tell you that Steve is everything they say. "Steve is a wonderful and professional trainer. He takes his training seriously and makes sure that you are getting the best out of it. It’s easy, as long as you do what he says, you WILL get results. I started with him a skinny kid at 137.5 pounds. About 3 months in and My weight was at 162. I definitely recommend him purely based on that fact that he takes his work serious in a way he won’t just let you cheat. He will push you and just knows what’s best for you.
